Getting Started as a Writer
Many of us think best selling authors live the writing life, writing every day, speaking at conferences and book signings, and above all thinking of themselves as writers. We hope that some day, after we’re on the New York Times bestseller’s list, we’ll be able to think of ourselves as writers, too. But instead of waiting to "Be a writer" make writing part of your life. By writing, you'll gain confidence you’ll develop skills, and you'll achieve your goals.

To help you answer the question, "How do I start writing?" this workshop provides answers, spelling out steps that turn your desire into action, by overcoming obstacles and aiming towards a goal.

You will learn:
--The roles of inspiration and perspiration
--Techniques to get ideas and turn them into pieces.
--The value of habits and how to get started
--Four goals: Make money, write your life, build community, tell stories
