Memoirs for Boomers
Writers Corner, USA Doylestown, PA.

Boomers are the largest and most influential demographic surge in the history of the world, first defined by the 1960’s and soon to be defined by entering our 60’s. That’s six decades of raw material for your memoir! This single-session workshop will demystify the memoir process, and show you how to overcome obstacles, get started and keep going.

You’ll learn:
• Why you’re not too young (or too old) to start now
• How to turn life story writing into a tool for visualizing the future.
• How to turn “free time” into “writing time” whether you have only a few minutes or all day.
• How not to get lost in the social clichés and icons of the sixties.
• To improve your dance with uncomfortable memories.
• How to start organizing scenes, sequences, and storylines.

Where: Writers Corner, USA Doylestown

When: Saturday August 18, 9-11:30 AM
FEE: $25.00
