Workshop Whether you are just starting, or climbing to the next peak, your writing goals tantalize you from a future you just don't seem to be able to reach. It's called by many names: procrastination, laziness, blahs, or writer's block. Whatever you call it, this workshop will help you get moving. Jerry introduces you to a rich set of options, and revitalizes your commitment to ones you already know. Exercises will show you how to overcome obstacles, and provide ideas and techniques you can put into practice. The course handout is a workbook that provides deeper explanations as well as questions that you can continue to process on your own. Earth. Intention into Action: Writers love flow. How do we turn it on, and how do we achieve our goals? Learn techniques to combine the best of inspiration and perspiration, so you can direct your energy effectively. Air. Inner harmony: We try to achieve our goals, but parts of
our mind don't cooperate. Distracted by self-doubt, we let inertia and
yes-buts spoil our momentum. Align the parts of your mind to point you
towards your goals. Water. Going public: Exposing the private activity of writing for public view is difficult for many writers. We'll show you how to reduce anxiety and break through the reluctance to connect with the public. By embracing your audience you'll tap into the energy that pulls people together.
